We are delighted that our South Gardens scheme at Elephant Park has picked up both a Housing Design Award and a RIBA London Award.

South Gardens, phase 1 of the Elephant Park housing development, aims to deliver a sustainable, liveable and playful community with beautiful courtyard and rooftop gardens. The courtyards contain over 48 different varieties of trees and large shrubs, 27 different varieties of climbers and 11 hedge species, while the groundcover, herbaceous and bulb planting consists of over 40 mixes, comprise of over 100 species of herbaceous, bulbs, ferns, and grasses, each carefully selected to suit the differing conditions of light and shade, exposure, competition and moisture and.

Working with ecologist Gary Grant, we developed the planting strategy to deliver maximum species diversity. These areas now provide major potential for the accommodation of many rare plants and invertebrate. We also gained an award at the Horticulture Week Awards, winning Best Landscape Practice for Commercial Housing 2018.
