Tower of London - London
2002-2004 | Tower Environs Scheme | Stanton Williams
Our specific role related to 2 key elements, a green reinforced embankment and a tree planting trench. Since the embankment faced south and the topsoil depth was minimal there was a need to maximise water retention on the slope to achieve healthy establishment. Capillary matting was employed to maximize rainwater retention in order to minimise irrigation requirements.
